Grant Thornton has concluded a lease to approx. 1928 m² on the 6th and 7th floor of "The New Loft Office" and will soon move into its new accommodation. The floors leased by Grant Thornton will be delivered turnkey and meet the highest standards in terms of facilities and energy.

"The New Loft Office" is a development of G&S Vastgoed, centrally located in the Amsterdam Zuidoost district. It forms part of the Kavel 17 project, in which G&S Vastgoed is also realising a 4-star hotel with 241 rooms on top of a car park with room for 550 vehicles.

"The New Loft Office" is located opposite the main entrance of the Amsterdam Arena and alongside the entrance building of the Ziggo Dome, which is under construction. Following the conclusion of this transaction, the building is practically fully let, with concluding negotiations taking place for the remaining 3 floors.

Various investors are showing serious interest in acquiring the property and G&S Vastgoed expects that agreement will soon be reached.

Delivery of the building is scheduled for the first quarter of 2012. "The New Loft Office" is based on the contemporary "Loft" concept with a touch of inspiration from the Golden Age of Amsterdam. Designed by Van Den Oever, Zaaijer & Partners, the building is characterised by large storey heights, large glass surfaces and its many balconies. Moreover, the communal spaces, based on a design by Property Upgrade, will exude a lively and informal atmosphere in which users can meet with their clients.

Colliers International served as Grant Thornton's leasing consultant. The fitting-out process will be supervised by Peter Bulters. Letting agents for the building are Jones Lang LaSalle Amsterdam and Van Dijk & Ten Cate Vastgoedadviseurs, with the latter representing the interests of G&S Vastgoed.

astellas3Construction of the new office office and laboratory building for owner-occupier- Astellas Pharma reached its highest point on 3 November 2011. Excellent reason for a celebration, according to developer G&S Vastgoed.

The building will be called Mirai House, which name scored highest in an internal contest amongst the personnel of Astellas Pharma. The attractive blossoming Japanese Mirai tree is symbolic for the future, development and prosperity.

Astellas Pharma has Japanese roots and is active in the pharmaceutical sector.
